◆Function Overview
- An IoT device that transmits specific data (iBeacon Advertising Packet) using Bluetooth is called a "beacon".
The data transmitted by a beacon contains information that identifies the device,
so ugo can detect a specific beacon by performing a Bluetooth scan.
- This beacon and Bluetooth scanning technology allows the operation screen to display that the call button has been pressed.
◆What is a Call Button?
- The call button is an IoT device that emits a beacon signal when pressed.
Ugo is capable of detecting this signal and displays a message on the bottom of the operation screen when the button is pressed.
- It is also possible to configure the button to notify the user visa email or other messaging apps when the button is pressed. This can be used in use-cases where an operator can talk to a customer through ugo or where a staff member
can be sent to the customer's location after receiving an email or message notification of the button press.
*The notification function for email or other messaging apps is available from ugo OS v4.0.0 or later.
