Functional overview
An IoT device that transmits specific data ( iBeacon Advertising Packet ) using Bluetooth is called a "beacon."The data transmitted by a beacon contains information that identifies the device, so ugo can detect specific beacons by performing a Bluetooth scan.
By using this "beacon" and "Bluetooth scan" technology, it is possible to display.
What is a call button?
It is an IoT device that transmits a beacon signal when the button is pressed . ugo detects this signal and has the function to display the message below on the operation screen when the button is pressed. It can be used as a call button when talking to an operator via ugo.

Setting method
Setting up IoT device management
From the ugo Portal global menu, select "Data Management" > " IoT Device Management".
Click the + sign in the upper right corner of the screen.
Select "Button Beacon" from the "Model Name ( ① )" pull-down menu.
Select " Default Profile " from the "Connection Profile ( ② )" pull-down menu.
Enter the required information in "Name ( ③ ) ", "Installation building ( ④ ) ", and "Installation floor ( ④ )".
After entering the information, click "Register" to complete the setup on your IoT device.
*It is okay to leave the "Description" field blank.
Set to command list
Launch "Command List" from the ugo Portal global menu.
Select "Beacon Detection ( Bluetooth)" from the Recording tab.
In the "Target device" parameter field, select the IoT device name you set in the previous section.
The "Name" will be automatically entered as "Search for "IoT device name " ", but it can be renamed.
Launch the operation screen and click the "Beacon Detection (Bluetooth) " command you have set up.
*The default command name is “Find “IoT device name ”.
Make sure that the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the operation screen turns blue, then press the call button.
When the message below is displayed in the bottom center of the operation screen, the setup is complete.
How to use
From the ugo Portal global menu, select "Data Management" > " IoT Device Management".
Click on the data of the IoT device you set up in the previous section.
Change the "Connection Profile" from "Default Profile" to " Button Press Detection Profile " and click "Update" to save the settings.
Launch the operation screen and click the "Beacon Detection ( Bluetooth)" command.
When the Bluetooth icon turns blue, it is waiting to detect the call button (beacon signal).
When you press the call button, the following screen will be displayed on the operation screen.
This allows the operator to recognize that the person in front of ugo wants to talk to them.
⚠Please note
- The call button is battery powered, but the battery cannot be replaced.
