This article provides troubleshooting steps for when the ugo Pro (G4) does not power on or does not start up normally after powering on.
First, please check the status of the LED on the power button and then follow the flow below.

STEP 1: Check the LED on the Power Button
The power button has an LED that indicates the status of ugo. You can check the status of ugo by observing whether the LED is lit or blinking.
Based on the current LED status, please proceed to one of the following:
- LED is blinking → Go to "After pressing the power button, the LED continues blinking (Pro (G4) only)"
- LED does not respond or remains off → Go to "STEP 2: Check the Emergency Stop Switch, Main Power Switch, and Charging Status"
- LED is lit, but the face display remains showing the rainbow orb and startup does not complete → Go to "STEP 3: Check Cable Connections"

STEP 2: Check the Emergency Stop Switch, Main Power Switch, and Charging Status
① Confirm that the emergency stop switch is not pressed
- If the emergency stop switch is pressed, twist the switch clockwise to release
the emergency stop state.
*For the procedure to return to normal state, please refer to
Specifications and Recovery Procedure for the Emergency Stop Switch.

② Confirm that the main power switch is ON
Applicable: Models manufactured March 2025 and later only
This model is equipped with a main power switch for the battery.
If the main power switch is OFF, pressing the power button will not start the device.
Please remove the front cover of the cart unit and check the position of the main power switch. If it is OFF, please switch it ON.
*The manufacture date is listed on the "Asset Management Tag" sticker attached to the unit along with the serial number.

③ Confirm that ugo’s battery has charge (Press the power button to check startup)
After confirming steps ① and ② above, press and hold the power button for about 1 second and check if ugo starts up.
If the LED does not light up, the battery may be low.
Please charge for at least 1.5 hours and then press the power button again to check.

STEP 3: Check Cable Connections
If the power is on but the face display remains showing the rainbow orb for a long time without change, it may be caused by loose internal cable connections.
【Items to Check】
① Turn OFF the main power button of the unit and also turn OFF the main power
switch (for models manufactured March 2025 and later only).
② Press and release the emergency stop switch to ensure the emergency stop
state is fully released.
③ Unplug and replug all cables connecting the body unit and the lifter unit
to ensure they are securely connected.
Do not rely only on visual confirmation; physically unplug and replug each cable. Especially check that the Ethernet cable plugged into the body unit is not partially connected.

④ Unplug and replug all cables (those with tags) connecting the lifter unit and
the cart unit, and ensure they are securely connected.
Do not rely only on visual confirmation; physically unplug and replug each cable.

⑤ After completing steps up to ④, turn ON the main power switch and
power button and start the ugo Pro.
