There are two possible cases where the collision prevention function does not work:
・If the collision prevention range is not displayed
- The "Collision Prevention: zero" command is executed
*Including cases where it is incorporated into FLOW
- [What to do if the above does not improve the issue]
・The collision prevention range is displayed, but the collision prevention function does not work
- The object is made of glass or a mirror.
- LiDAR is in a blind spot
- What to do if the above doesn't work
Each case and how to deal with it
If the collision prevention area is not displayed
Case 1: The "Collision Prevention: Zero" command is being executed
Run the command "Collision Prevention: default".
Please refer to this article → Commands > How to execute commands
*If the "Collision Prevention: Default" command is not in the command list, add it.
Please refer to this article → Command List Settings > How to set commands in the command list
*If "Collision Prevention: Zero" is built into FLOW, please change it to an appropriate range of collision prevention commands.
Please refer to this article → Flow Settings > How to edit a Flow
[What to do if the above does not resolve the issue] *Please try the steps in the order listed above.
・Switch in the order of collision prevention v2 → collision prevention v1 → collision prevention v2
①Click the gray icon with "xxcm" written on it in the collision prevention display on the left side of the ugo operation screen.
② It will switch to "v1", so click again
Please refer to this article → ugo operation screen>③
・Restart the "Collision Prevention" service
Please refer to this article → How to restart > Restart the service
- System restart (main unit restart)
- For G4, restart the system. For G3, restart the device. *Depends on the model of ugo you are using (G4 or G3).
Please refer to this article → How to restart > System restart or device restart
The collision prevention area is displayed but the collision prevention function does not work
Case 1: The object is made of glass or a mirror
In the above cases, LiDAR detection may not work properly, which may affect the operation of the collision prevention function.
Case 2: LiDAR blind spot
The LiDAR is located at a height of approximately 25 cm on the front of the cart unit.
Therefore, the LiDAR cannot detect objects in its blind spot, such as the rear of the cart unit or objects outside a range of approximately 25 cm in height (this varies depending on the distance from the object), and the collision prevention function will not work.
[What to do if the above does not solve your problem] *Please try the steps in the order listed above.
・Restart the "LiDAR" service
Please refer to this article → How to restart > Restart the service
- System restart (main unit restart)
- For G4, restart the system. For G3, restart the device. *Depends on the model of ugo you are using (G4 or G3).
Please refer to this article → How to restart > System restart or device restart
