How to Restart the Unit (Power Button OFF/ON)

This article explains how to restart the unit using the power button (physical OFF/ON).

⚠️Precautions

- Do not forcibly cut off the main power switch. 
 Doing so may cause device malfunction.
 Always turn off the power using the correct procedure with the power button.

- When turning the power ON, do not press and hold the power button for too long. 
 Holding it too long may prevent normal startup.
 When the "ugo" logo appears on the face display as viewed from the front, release your finger from the power button.

◆Steps to Restart the Unit

① Remove the rear hatch (Pro / Ex) or rear trunk cover (mini), then press the power button.
 Press and hold the power button until the blue LED on the power button starts blinking.

② When the shutdown process begins, "shutdown" will be displayed on the face display.
* ugo Ex does not have a face display, so nothing will be shown.

 At the same time, the unit will be in the following states:
・ugo Pro: The lifter moves to the default height, and the arm returns to the initial position.
・ugo mini: The telescopic pole moves to the default height, and the gimbal 4K camera orientation returns to default.

③ When the power OFF is complete, the face display will turn off (Pro and mini only).
 For ugo Ex, please confirm that the power button LED is completely off.

④ Press the power button to turn ugo back on.

- If you hold the power button for too long, the unit may fail to start properly.
 When the "ugo" logo appears on the face display as viewed from the front, release your finger from the power button.

⑤ A rainbow-colored orb will appear on the face display, and the startup process will begin.

⑥ When ugo finishes starting up, the face display will show its default expression.
 For ugo Pro, the arm will be in a "standby posture" slightly forward from the default state.
 When ugo is online, the ugo icon will appear on the operation screen.
