◆STEP 1: Enable the Cart Brake
Depending on the installation environment (floor condition, how easily vibrations or rebounds are transmitted, etc.), the connection with the charging station may gradually loosen after automatic charging return, eventually disconnecting and causing the battery to run out without notice.
Even when performing arm movements such as a "salute" while connected to the charging station, the connection with the charging station may gradually loosen and disconnect without notice.
To prevent this, apply the brake to the cart unit and fix the wheels after connecting to the charging station.
There are two ways to set the brake.
Method A: Set Using the "Start Automatic Charging" Command (Recommended for Flow Operation)
Set the "Brake Execution" parameter of the "Start Automatic Charging" command to Enabled (the default setting is disabled).
After automatic charging return, the brake will be applied automatically.

Method B: Use the "Cart Brake ON" Command Individually
Add the "Cart Brake ON" command to the command list and execute it manually after connecting to the charging station.
→ "Cart Brake ON / OFF" Command

⚠️ Notes When Using the Brake
- The brake status is not visible from the outside. Forcibly pushing the locked unit by hand during braking can cause it to tip over and is very dangerous.
- Please move the unit by hand only after releasing the brake. You can release the brake by any of the following methods:
- Operate the ugo Portal screen with keyboard controls to move forward
- Execute the "Move Forward ◯m" or "Cart Brake OFF" command from the command list
- Please share with all staff involved in ugo operations that "ugo is locked while charging and must not be moved by hand."
After enabling the brake, please observe for a while to confirm that the unit remains connected to the station.
◆STEP 2: Check the Installation Status of the Charging Station
- The back of the charging station is in contact with a flat wall surface wider than 30 cm
- Flooring material is assumed to be hardwood flooring
- The floor allows less than 3 mm of sinking when ugo is on it

◆STEP 3: Confirm if Charging Starts Properly When Pushed Manually
Manually dock ugo to the station and confirm that charging starts properly.
- The battery indicator at the top right of the control screen changes
- The charging status LED on the charging station lights up (may take about 10 seconds to light)

If the unit is immediately pushed out even when docked manually, there may be a problem with either the ugo unit or the charging station.
If the issue is not resolved by the above steps, please contact us.
