◆Overview of the Issue
When charging starts with the ugo mini charging station, the status lamp normally lights red (charging). However, if the temperature of the charging terminals becomes too high, power supply will be stopped for safety, and the status lamp will blink red to indicate an abnormal condition.

Charging Station Status Lamp Color |
Status |
| Red | ugo mini is powered ON and connected to the charging station (charging) |
| Green | ugo mini is powered OFF and connected to the charging station (charging) |
◆Meaning of Red Blinking
This blinking indicates that the charging station has detected an abnormal condition and has stopped power supply for safety.
The likely causes vary depending on the occurrence pattern.
・After starting charging, the lamp lights red, then after a while starts blinking red
→ Safety control may have activated due to temperature rise at the charging terminals
・Red blinking occurs even when not charging
→ Another cause may be involved
◆Causes and Solutions
The main cause is that the contact condition of the charging terminals on the charging station side causes the temperature to rise easily.
Also, in environments where the room temperature at the installation site is high, the terminal temperature tends to rise more easily even with the same contact condition, making red blinking more likely to occur.
Please also check the room temperature of the installation location.
Step 1: Confirm the Occurrence Pattern
Please check which of the following applies.
- ① Connect ugo mini and start charging → red light → after a while red blinking
- ② Red blinking occurs even when ugo mini is not connected
If ① applies, it is likely due to temperature rise at the terminals. Please try the temporary measure in Step 2.
If ② applies, another cause is suspected, so please proceed to Step 3.
Step 2: Temporary Measure (If Terminal Temperature Rise is Suspected)
After waiting for some time, please try charging again.
Note that the terminal temperature will decrease even if the ugo mini remains on the station, so it is not always necessary to remove it from the station.
However, if there is dirt or debris on the terminals on the bottom of the ugo mini or on the station side, or if the terminals on the station side are deformed, the temperature may rise more easily.
For inspection, please check and clean the terminals following the steps below.
① Turn off the charger and unplug it from the outlet.
② Remove the ugo mini from the station and turn it off. Check if there is any dirt or debris on the terminals on the bottom of the ugo mini.
③ Also check the terminals on the charging station side for dirt, debris, or deformation. If deformation is found, please contact support.
④ If dirt is found on the terminals, gently wipe it off with a dry cloth.
⑤ After cleaning, wait for a while, then turn on the charger and ugo mini, and connect again to the charging station. Check if the red blinking has cleared.
- If waiting or cleaning clears the red blinking and charging works normally (red light)
→ This is considered a temporary safety control due to temperature rise at the terminals.
If this happens very frequently, please proceed to Step 3. - If red blinking does not clear after these steps or recurs immediately
→ Please proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Record the Occurrence Details and Contact Support
If red blinking occurs frequently or does not improve after Step 2, inspection or part replacement of the charging station may be required.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact our support team with the installation environment and the checks you performed.
- Serial numbers of the affected unit, charging station, and charger
- Date and time of the occurrence
- Time from start of charging to red blinking
- Installation environment (room temperature, etc.)
- Condition of the terminals on the bottom of the ugo mini and on the station side (presence of dirt or deformation)
※ We may ask you to send photos or videos to check the terminal condition.
