・What the Yellow Flashing Means
◆Overview of the Issue
ugo mini Charging Station (manufactured May 2026 or later) is designed to ensure safety by confirming via a switch that the device is physically and correctly in contact before starting to supply power.
If this switch is only partially pressed, it triggers an error that stops power supply and notifies the abnormality by flashing the status lamp.
| Status Lamp Condition | Flashing yellow |
| Device Condition | Docked to the charging station but charging has not started or is unstable |
◆What the Yellow Flashing Means
This flashing indicates a specification error detection state showing that the charging station’s “disengagement detection switch” is not being fully pressed (the device has not reached all the way in).
In this state, the charging station detects an abnormality and safely cuts off power supply.
It is safe to continue using the device as is; there are no safety issues such as fire or malfunction, so please rest assured.
◆Causes and Solutions
The main cause is that the device stops before fully pressing the switch when docking with the station.
The following steps can help resolve this.
Step 1: Temporary Recovery Method
If you want to start charging immediately on site, move the ugo mini away from the station once, then manually or automatically dock it again.
Removing the ugo mini from the charging station will stop the yellow flashing of the status lamp, and reconnecting it will return the lamp to the color indicating charging, which means it is normal.
This is likely caused by incomplete docking.
Please continue to monitor and operate as usual.
If the yellow flashing does not stop or occurs frequently, please proceed to Step 2.

Charging Station Status Lamp Colors |
Condition |
| Red | ugo mini is powered ON and connected to the charging station (charging) |
| Green | ugo mini is powered OFF and connected to the charging station (charging) |
Step 2: Change the “Automatic Charging Start” Command
Change the command used for automatic charging start to one compatible with stations that have detection switches, and adjust the parameter for Retreat Time [seconds].
This can be found under the Movement category in the command picker, with the Beta display level.
- Command to use: Automatic Charging Start mini (for stations with switches)
- Parameter setting: Change Retreat Time [seconds] to 1.1 seconds (default is 0.9 seconds)
※ Depending on floor friction and other conditions, if 1.1 seconds does not resolve the issue, slightly adjusting (extending) the value can help ensure the switch is fully pressed.
If changing the Retreat Time [seconds] parameter does not resolve the issue, proceed to the next Step 3.

Step 3: Check for Foreign Objects in the Detection Switch Gap
Turn off the charger power and unplug it from the outlet, then check the gap around the detection switch on the charging station for any foreign objects.
Please also clean the area around the detection switch using a vacuum cleaner or similar.
Press the detection switch with your finger and confirm it moves smoothly without sticking.
Reconnect the ugo mini to the charging station and check if the yellow flashing of the status lamp has stopped.
◆If the Issue Persists
If the yellow flashing does not stop after following Steps 1 through 3, the following possibilities should be considered:
- Failure of the detection switch itself
- Slippery floor surface at the installation location (tires spin without the device reaching fully inside)
In such cases, please contact our support desk with details about the installation environment and the checks you have performed via Inquiry.
- Serial numbers of the affected device and charging station
- Date and time the issue occurred
- Time from charging start until yellow flashing began
- Installation environment (floor surface, etc.)
- Condition of the charging station’s detection switch
※ We may ask you to send photos or videos to verify the condition of the detection switch.
