==== Added May 18, 2026 ==================================================================
Due to the full transition to the new SkyWay system on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM (JST), communication requirements have been completely changed.
If communication restrictions (such as whitelist settings) are applied within your facility's network, please add the new settings accordingly.

◾️Connection Speed
The recommended connection speed for the robot side is 10 Mbps or higher. For the operator side, we recommend using a fixed broadband connection or Wi-Fi environment with 20 Mbps or higher.
⚠️Caution
If you are using tethering, mobile Wi-Fi routers, data cards, or 4G LTE/5G, you may reach the mobile data usage limit during use. Please check your carrier’s plan.
◾️Communication Requirements (SkyWay New System)
WebRTC uses SkyWay provided by NTT Docomo Business.
For details on SkyWay connection requirements, please refer to here.
Please configure your firewall or proxy server to allow the following communications.
| Category | Destination Domain (FQDN) | Port Number | Protocol | Purpose |
| Control/Signaling | *.skyway.ntt.com | 443 / TCP | HTTPS, WSS | Authentication, room management, signaling |
| STUN | *.skyway.ntt.com | 443/UDP, 443/TCP |
STUN | Communication path resolution |
| TURN (Relay) | *.skyway.ntt.com | 443/UDP, 15000-65535/UDP 443/TCP |
– | Media data relay |
| P2P Communication | Between client devices | 1024–65535/UDP | – | Direct communication between devices |
| ugo Portal Communication | gateway.ugo.works | 443/TCP | HTTPS, WSS |
In addition to the above, please add the following URLs related to our Platform to your whitelist.
- ugo-portal.com
- api.ugo.systems
■Notes on Network Settings
Restrictions by IP Address:
- Since SkyWay server IP addresses change dynamically, if you filter by IP, you must instead set filtering by domain name (FQDN). IP address filtering is not possible, so please be careful.
Proxy Servers and TLS Inspection:
- Due to the nature of WebRTC (real-time communication), the following settings are recommended: ・Proxy exclusion: Add .skyway.ntt.com to the proxy server’s bypass list. ・Disable SSL/TLS inspection: To avoid communication delays or disconnections, disable packet rewriting or inspection for the above domain.
Priority of UDP Communication:
- WebRTC prioritizes UDP communication. When using TURN servers, fallback to TCP 443 occurs if UDP 443 port is blocked. TCP communication may increase delay in video and audio. Please allow UDP communication as much as possible.
◆WebRTC Connectivity Check Procedure
The connectivity test device is always powered on, so connectivity can be checked at any time.
① From your communication environment (the environment where you plan to operate ugo), access the following URL. 【ugo Portal (Login Screen)】 URL: https://ugo-portal.com/auth/login
② We will separately provide you with a login ID (email address) and password to access the connectivity test device. Enter the login ID (email address) and password for accessing the connectivity test device and log in to ugo Portal. ※ This is different from the login ID (email address) and password you usually use.
|
|
③ After logging in, select "Connect (Operate)" for the "Connectivity Check Reactor" displayed on the operation screen.
|
|
④ The operation screen for the "Connectivity Check Reactor" will open, and if a color bar is displayed on the screen, the connectivity test is complete. If you cannot see video or hear signal sounds, please refer to this page and add or modify your network settings (whitelist).
