・Summary: How to use it in comparison with conventional methods
◆ Overview of functions
Starting with ugo OS v4.1.0, the "Photo of multiple check items" command is now available, allowing you to take photos of up to five meters (check items) at once.
This makes it more efficient to create a flow in an area with many meters.
◆ Differences between traditional and new methods
Previously, for example, to photograph three meters, three "Photographing check items" commands were required, but with the new method, if the three meters are in the same field of view, a single command will do the job.
■ Operational image
A site where three meters are installed close together on a wall ( example of operation using the meter reading AI "hakaru.ai" )
*With the meter reading AI "LiLz Gauge," you can set the reading meters one by one on the LiLz Gauge dashboard screen for multiple meters (one inspection point) that fit within the same field of view without using markers.
■ Previous "Photographing check items" command
Needed to incorporate the "Capture Check Item" command into Flow for each meter.
■ New "Photographing Check Items (Multiple)" command
You can register up to five meters you want to photograph in one command. This
will improve the efficiency of creating Flows, as you can now do it with just one "Photographing check items (multiple)" command.
*Only if the meters you want to photograph are within the same angle of view.
◆ About the "Photographing check items (multiple)" command
[Parameters]
| Item name | explanation | |
| ① | Check items | Select the meter you want to read from the drop-down list that you registered in [Register Check Item]. You can capture up to five meters at the same time if they are within the same angle of view. |
| ② | Shooting resolution | Specify the resolution for capturing the meter image: [4K] or [HD]. This affects the accuracy of the reading. The default is [4K]. |
| ③ | Image size (when cropping fails) |
Specify the image size when sending failed recognition images to the ugo Portal report results. Choose from [Normal size], [1/2 size], [1/4 size], or [1/8 size]. The default is [1/2 size]. |
◆ How to use in Flow
Please register the check items for the meters you want to read in advance.
For details, please refer to " How to set up hakaru.ai meter reading ."
① Press the [New Create Button] "+" to open the [Command Picker].
② Add the [Task Start] command in the [Record] tab.
③ Add the command "Photographing check items (multiple)." In [Parameters], set the following: ・Select the meters registered in [Check items](up to 5) ・Select [4K] for [Shooting resolution] ・Select [1/2 size] for [Image size]
④ Add the [Task Completed] command in the [Record] tab.
⑤Now, we have completed a Flow that will take consecutive photos of all checked meters with a single command. *When actually reading the meter, commands related to "Patrolling the Map", "Adjusting Position" and "Change Telescopic Pole Height" are used.
◆ Notes
Note about the order of report images:
- If you use the "Photographing Check Items (Multiple)" command to capture multiple items at once, the order of the images uploaded to the report after execution may not necessarily match the order set in the parameters (they may be out of order).
If your workflow requires strict image order, we recommend setting only one meter in the "Capture Check Items (Multiple)" command parameters and creating a flow with separate commands as usual.
Important points about the meter reading AI "LiLz Gauge":
- With LiLz Gauge, you can set up multiple meters (at one inspection point) that fit within the same field of view,
and read each meter individually on the LiLz Gauge dashboard screen. In "Check Item Settings," set one device ID for each inspection point.
For details, please refer to "LiLz Gauge Meter Reading Settings".
◆ Summary: Usage Comparison
If you set only one meter in the parameters of the "Photographing Check Items (Multiple)" command, it behaves in the same way as the previous "Photographing Check Items" command.
Please use the appropriate settings depending on your needs.
