Overview of IP address access restriction function
- A "Security Settings" item has been added to the "Building Management" global menu on the left side of the Portal screen.
In "Security Settings", it is possible to set "Access Restrictions by IP Address".
- By enabling " Access Restrictions by IP Address" with this function,
access (login to the Portal) from any IP address other than the "allowed IP addresses" will be prevented.
- In addition, since access restrictions by IP address are set for each "building", the
"Access Restrictions by IP Address" function will be enabled for all user accounts that have the relevant building set as their "Associated Building".
Setting method
- In the ugo Portal screen, go to Global Menu > Data Management > Building Management >
Select the building you want to change the settings for from the list
of buildings. - In the security settings section at the bottom of the building settings screen, select the New Creation icon in the red frame below.
- When you select the New Creation icon, the following screen will be displayed. Please enter the "IP address to allow access" in the IP address field
(you can enter anything in the description field).
- After entering the "IP address to *You can check the IP address you are currently using on the website (global IP address is displayed), etc.
- After registering the "IP addresses from which access is permitted", select the toggle button for "Restrict access by IP address" in the security settings screen shown below.
- When you select the "IP address access restriction" toggle button, the following screen will be displayed.
If you select "OK", the "IP address access restriction" function will be enabled, and
access (login to the Portal) from any IP address other than the "allowed IP addresses" will be restricted.
* Before enabling "IP address access restriction", please register the "IP addresses that are allowed to access". If you enable the restriction function without registering IP addresses, accounts ( including organization administrators and system administrators)
associated with the set building
will not be able to access (login to the Portal).
- To disable the "IP Address Access Restriction" function, select the enabled toggle button.
- If you select "OK", the "IP Address Access Restriction" function will be disabled.
