Improved waypoint passing accuracy
You can now set the waypoint threshold (the value at which ugo is determined to have reached each waypoint on the map route) by command.
By changing the waypoint threshold, you can adjust ugo's ability to follow the route.
Details of "Change Waypoint Arrival Judgment Value"
- The waypoint threshold can be changed using the "Change waypoint arrival threshold" command. Select the command and change the parameter "Threshold distance" (setting range: 0.1 to 0.5 [m]) [Default value: 0.5 [m]]
- Reducing the waypoint threshold: The accuracy of the robot following the driving route will increase. Increasing the waypoint threshold: the accuracy of the robot following the driving route will decrease (the allowable distance for determining when the waypoint has been reached will increase).
* If you make the waypoint threshold smaller, the collision detection function may prevent you from reaching the target waypoint (it may not be determined that you have arrived due to the threshold), and the map patrol may stop. If the map patrol stops in narrow places or around corners after changing the waypoint threshold (especially if you make the value smaller), please review the threshold.
Preparation for using the "Change waypoint arrival threshold" command
ugo Portal screen "Global Menu" > "Flow Settings" > Select any Flow or create a new Flow
Setting method
- Add the "Change Waypoint Arrival Criteria" and "Map Patrol Position Initialization" commands to the Flow you are setting.
*The "Change Waypoint Arrival Criteria" command is in the "Movement" tab of the command picker.
- The waypoint threshold can be changed using the "Change waypoint arrival threshold" command. Select the command and change the parameter "Threshold distance" (setting range: 0.1 to 0.5 [m]) [Default value: 0.5 [m]]
- Please place the "Change Waypoint Arrival Judgment Value" command before the "Map Navigation Position Initialization" command or before the "Map Patrol Start" command.
*The command remains valid until the service or device is restarted.
