General configuration notes
Cart unit [Collision prevention function]
・ugo's cart unit is equipped with LiDAR and can detect objects within a 270° range in front of the robot.
・Collision prevention function uses LiDAR to slow down and stop when an object is within a specified range.
・When moving ugo, you can move safely by setting this function in advance.
・When the collision prevention function is activated, ugo will slow down when the distance to an obstacle is within 1m, and when the distance is within 0.5m,
will stop ugo (anti-collision: default)
Example: Set "Collision prevention range setting command" before "Map patrol start command" (Flow)
Lifter unit, arm
・Operating the arm (changing posture, etc.) when the height of the lifter unit (body unit) is not sufficient
Be careful when doing this, as the cart unit and the arm may come into contact with each other.
・Even if there is an object within the range of ugo's arm (such as near a wall), the arm can be operated (position changed)
Care must be taken to prevent contact between the arm and any object.
Example: Raise the lifter unit to 850mm, change its position, and then lower it to 500mm (Flow)
Things to note when setting up Flow
When creating a command, please refrain from entering any emojis in the text input field.
If you enter emojis and set them up, a data inconsistency will occur, and all users will be unable to use ugo Portal until the system is restored.(It will take time to identify where the emoji was entered and to restore the deleted emoji.)
Example: Random voice command
Text #2: A warning message will be displayed stating "Emojis are not allowed!"
Text #4: Please note that some emojis may not display warnings.
Points to note when setting up WorkPlan
Pre-setting, post-setting
Pre-setting is a function that automatically executes a set command when a step starts .
Therefore, if the operator accidentally starts a different step, unintended actions may be performed, which may cause the operator to come into contact with and be damaged by surrounding objects.
To prevent the above, please pay attention to the following points when configuring pre-settings:
・Do not set commands that physically move ugo, such as "arm", "lifter", or "cart".
・Do not set it to "Step #1"
・For "Commands to be executed before the start of a step", try to "pre-configure that step" as much as possible or i nstead, set it to " Post-settings for the previous step."
For example, if you have a salute (arm movement) in the preset for Step #1, when you accidentally open that WorkPlan, the posture will suddenly change to a salute. This is dangerous when there are objects around, and it is difficult to prevent because it moves suddenly.
Please be careful with the other steps as well.
When you run a WorkPlan, you may occasionally encounter situations where the execution order is changed, such as restarting a step from the beginning and returning to a previous step.
Although there would be no problem if the steps were executed in order, the moment you return, the pre-configuration of another step will be executed, and depending on the command, an unintended state may result.
If the order of steps is changed, unintended pre-settings may be executed, which may result in necessary functions not being "enabled" and causing ugo to not work properly.
The above phenomena can be relatively prevented by utilizing post-event configuration.
Post-setting is "a function that automatically executes the set commands when the main action is performed ."
Therefore, it will not be executed until you click on the "Main Action" to execute it.
Like the pre-settings, the post-settings also execute commands automatically, but as they will not operate unexpectedly, they are safer to use than the pre-settings.
Therefore , you can use ugo safely by setting the "command you want to run before starting a step" as a "post-setting for the previous step" rather than a "pre-setting for that step" .
